It’s 2013 and we are all of us more than the sum of our pasts. Last night I was told I’d won a copy of the Tall Popy Project by Kylie Pachett. The lovely Mumchic asked what we would most like the change this year… I think, for me, this is what it all boils down to. I could say ‘more confidence’, or ‘greater concentration’, ‘more drive’, ‘less weight’, but it’s all the same thing really.
The past is like the devil sometimes… it’s powerful, it can dangle things in front of you and convince you that you want them, need them, and that ultimately you can’t have them… but like the devil, it can’t force you to action, or inaction. You can always say no, even if it doesn’t seem like you can.
It’s hard to dance with the devil on your back…
so shake it out.
I think lots of us would love more confidence. I know I would. It takes a lot of inner work I think to do that. Goodluck with finding some!

Dropping in from the March Blog Carnival. Very wise words!
Thank you Michaela! Sometimes I feel quite empowered and ready to throw off old issues and move forward, and then other days that’s just gone and I feel bowed down under them as though there might never be any way to get it off me.
Deep. Love Florence.
